Reclaimed Aluminum Wall Sconce

To create this one of a kind wall sconce, we went to the local scrap yard and purchased pounds of “trash.” We then thought of creative, unique ways to use the materials. Recycling meets function… after the holes were drilled, the aluminum pieces were painted in bronze and copper tones. All our sconces and chandeliers are wired and UL approved. Engine Gear Lamp (shade seperate)

At Lighting Creations in Charlotte, we use a lot of reclaimed materials. We even go to scrap yards and buy materials that would otherwise end up in landfills and nasty smelting factories. We’re not claiming to be sustainable or green- there is a lot of “greenwashing” out there, but we are taking steps in the right direction! If you place compact fluorescent light bulbs in our sockets, you’re taking one more step towards helping the planet, conserving energy, and saving yourself a little money. After all, little things add up.
